ONLY DAYS FROM MOVING IN!
Yes! Our shipped goods will/should arrive at the new house on Wednesday!
So...blogging will, once again, take a back seat. All fingers are crossed (which hinders accurate typing even more than a slight excessof grape juice). Did you see what I did there?
Why are the fingers out of normal alignment? The weather, of course! Yesterday, we had some heavy rain and probably hail. We were in the Big Tin Shed hardware store where regular rain sounds like hail , but a woman coming in as we were going out mentioned it. I'm pottering today, doing laundry and hoping to get it dry and packed to be taken to new digs.
You want photos? Yeah, I'd like some, too, but the big camera was on charge all night and I haven't put the battery in yet. I tried a whole raft of new AA batteries for my old camera, but just kept getting a change batteries message, so that's slated for a trip to the camera shop...hopefully a good clean should sort it.

All the best for Wednesday! I hope everything survives the move - it's a tiring business so make sure you have plenty of down time with the grapes!
Sx
How exciting! A whole new adventure... I can't wait to hear about it. Jx
Downtime with grapes! What a nice way to put it!
Oh, you'll hear about it,Jon! I feel like a kid at Christmas, when all the presents had been wrapped and hidden til 25th so they'd be a Big Surprise. Tomorrow going to be a surprise,'cos I have no idea where things were packed!
I think yer salad days are over now ?
Ooh, moving day! I hope it went well - lubricated with some grape-related concoction, perhaps?
I have a very similar flooring in my bathroom. Well, en suite, really. Could probably get five or six of mine into your bathroom - even without the aforementioned lubrication!
Speaking of, whatever is all that splattered over the mirror? I don't think that Dettol hand wash will remove it.
Your outdoor wine corner reminds me of the Deetz's veranda in Beetlejuice - you just need a window. And is that a gincuzzi in the outbuilding?!?
I cannot wait to see what you do with that YARD!!!
OH...I'm not so sure, Mr Mag. I still remember the musical...it was fun to watch and to perform. But, in the meaning, yes, I'm a little wiser!
A gin cuzzi! What a splendid idea! (It's a spa which has been ignored for ages, but the niece wants to resurrect it. I wonder if we could persuade her to add something grape-y...)
The "splatter" is the camera flash, mercifully hiding the photographer
I can think of several things, but as it's shared I must consider others. I'd probably start by removing the Photinia "lollipops" which some clown planted too close to the fence.
Photinia is truly horrible. OK, the red "baby leaves" are the reason why it's planted, but left to its own devices, YUK. Grey flowers?! How hideous are they?!!! Jx
The lollipops are stayers. But I have room for other things.Did I ever moan about not having sweet peas when I was in the TROPICS? Too late to sow seed, but I'll haunt the garden centres for seedlings and X my fingers, any day now...
I miss the Vodka fountain. Somewhere is photographic evidence of Mr IDV in the gincuzzi.
Whaaaat! Someone must resurrect that photo
