ANOTHER BLOG FRIEND HAS LEFT US.
Sue Goldberg was a prolific blogger for many years at her site, https://myjustsostory.blogspot.com/2025/09/sunday-selections-833.html
We corresponded for many years, sharing many things. We even coined a term for books we exchanged: boomerang - for a book to be returned when read.
I was not able to write about this earlier, due to hitch/glitsch on my site but I can now post a link for those who may wish to leave a message on the William Cole site.

You have my deepest sympathies, Dinah. I recall seeing her name in your comments thread for many years. Jx
Thanks, Jon. I know she loved reading your accounts of trips to garden centres (yes, she felt the same pain-in-the-pocket), but considered gardens worth every penny!
I'm surprised she was even watching me! Gardens are the ultimate solace - and even in our tiny space, there's always room for something more... Jx
PS You should add a title to this post - without one, readers can't click through to it from the automated email alert from Blogger.
Whether friends or bloggers, and blogger who are friends, it's always sad to hear of a passing of someone who touched us. Hugs to you Dinah
Thank you ,Maddie;yes, gardens link many of us.
Hi Dinah - thanks for posting this and for the information across to the resting gardens where we can find the link to Sue's service - should you wish to hear the brief, very peaceful Service for Sue.
Here's the actual direct link - should anyone wish to pay their respects ...

Thanks Dinah - I'll be back to write a note on my blog later on today - all the best and it was good to see this post - cheers Hilary
It's always very sad to lose a blog mate. I still think about LX and wonder what he would have made of the current global turmoil.
I'm not sure if you remember Gorilla Bananas from The Japing Ape? But after many, many years comments made in 2017 have been published - so a little blog activity, and maybe a sign of some news in the future.
Sx
This is truly heartbreaking news. When I heard of it, I was not happy. I pray for peace and strength for her family.
I'm so sorry, Dinah.
(...and I'm hoping you and yours are being spared the worst of the weather)
